It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.

Barbara Boris

Meet Barbara Boris

When you step into a class with Barbara Boris, you're learning from Woodstock's only Certified Iyengar Yoga Instructor (CIYT) and a certified member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists (C-IAYT). For nearly 40 years, Barbara has immersed herself in yoga asana, Indian philosophies, and Sanskrit, bringing a wealth of knowledge to every session. Her passion for yoga has taken her to India almost every winter from 1994-2014, where she studied seven times with the B.K.S. Iyengar family at their renowned institute in Pune.

She is deeply grateful to all the yoga teachers and masters who have guided her on her journey. A special thanks to Sharon Gannon and David Life of Jivamukti Yoga, who inspired her beginnings in New York City. She also is indebted to Robert Moses (Swami Sankarananda) for introducing her to India in 1994, and Kevin Gardiner and Mary Dunn of The Iyengar Institute of New York for their invaluable guidance. She is thankful to senior Iyengar teachers Joan White and Faeq Biria for generously sharing their profound knowledge, and, of course, to the entire Iyengar family for their support and wisdom.
